QotD: Childhood Frights
What were you afraid of as a child that seems silly to you now?

My first post in...forever...and I'm using it on one of these.
It used to scare me to have a mirror in my room. I suppose that it still does, a little, but not so much. I'm just a little apprehensive about mirrors facing me at night. I also used to be afraid of the dark, obviously, but I got over that quite a while ago. I wish I could remember exactly what it was that made me stop being so terrified, because I used to have a nightlight in my room all the time, and then, one day, I just...stopped? Hnn...I kind of wish I was more sentient back when I was little.
